Southern Star Care was founded by two people who shared a passion for helping people with a disability reach their highest potential. They both came from lived experience within the sector and wanted to show that they could make a difference and help those that needed it most, while giving participants a voice in their journey.
There was a clear gap in the market of high quality support, within the complex mental health and accommodation space and this is where Southern Star Care was created from.
The driving force behind our success is the combination of exceptional service and building good relationships with our clients and key stakeholders, with a focus on helping our clients to realise their goals and aspirations.
As we continue to grow, we remain committed to providing high quality 1:1 supports to our clients.
Our practice was specifically established to meet the needs of people living with disabilities in our community. As a registered National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) provider, we offer 1:1 support, including SIL (Supported Independent Living), High intensity supports, Daily supports, and many more. We understand that navigating the NDIS can be a challenging and overwhelming experience. This is why our experienced support team will help assist with the referral process, along with how to use your funding.
Our team are highly educated and will drive positive change in the lives of our clients, their families, and significant others. All our staff, from our support workers to our administrative support team, are enthusiastic, and patient and bring their positive attitudes to work each day.
